A MUST buy for taking the AFOQT

I purchased a bunch of test prep books for taking the AFOQT.I bought ...and the Arco Military Flight Aptitude Test book.Out of all these books, the Arco Military Flight Aptitude Test Book did the best job for preparing me for the AFOQT.It has ALL the subtests (not just the academic aptitude sections) so you get a very good idea of how the test is run.I scored a 94 on both the Pilot and Nav sections, and had only 2 weeks to prepare for the AFOQT.I have ZERO knowledge of Piloting but the book helped with the other sections that help determine the Pilot/Nav composite scores. This book should be the FIRST on your list of prep books for the AFOQT.

Excellent resource for the AFOQT

I haven't been the best student in college, but I really applied myself in studying for the AFOQT. This book was an excellent study aid and I highly recommend it. Take the practice tests seriously. I did the sample tests (in the front) a couple of times, over the course of a week or so, and then did the actual practice test three times over the course of about two weeks, rigidly timing each section. Go to the deepest section of the library or whatever it takes to not be interrupted and to concentrate. On the test, it will help if you have some flying experience and knowledge, and if you are mechanically inclined. One more thing regarding this book: I found that many of the problems in it seemed slightly harder than on the actual test. I can tell you for sure that the Electrical Mazes and Scale Reading sections are printed out a little larger and are easier to read on the test. My scores on each composite were: PILOT: 98, NAV: 95, A.A.: 87, VERBAL:93, QUANT: 75. Yeah I know- 75...we can't have it all. Good luck.

A Must Have for the AF Officer Test

I reccomend this guide to anyone interested in taking the AFOQT. The sample test given in the book was dead on. Take the sample under timed conditions for optimal results. Even if you don't plan to fly, buy this book. If you do plan to fly, you may need a supplement for the flight terms and plane functions. I cannot stress enough how prepared I was for the test because I practiced with this book. I highly recommend it!

How to ace the AFOQT

I purchased this study guide in order to prepare me for the Air Force Officer's Qualifying Test (AFOQT). It gave me everything necessary to ace the test (it also contains a complete AFOQT sample test). When I took the AFOQT I scored a 95 out of a possible 99 on the pilot composite. Trust me get this book if you want a pilot slot. This book also contains valuable information on Army, Navy/Marine Flight Aptitude test.

All you need to ace to military flight aptitude tests

I recently purchased this wonderful guide in preparation for the Air Force Officer's Qualifying Test (AFOQT). It provided me all the necessary information to ace the test. In fact, I scored an amazing 96 out of a possible 99 on the pilot composite. Remember, 50 is a very good score! Highly recommended for anyone interested in being accepted to military pilot training.
