Milestones & Miracles

This is the story of the Little Light House, a tuition-free preschool for special needs children. This book tells the history of the Little Light House, and all of the miraculous ways God has worked to keep their ministry growing. Two things really struck me while reading this: 1) their commitment to be obedient to God, and 2) their commitment to Christian principles of money management (i.e. - never have debt, always pay suppliers, etc.). Anyway, I teared up after almost every chapter. I must tell you that I have a special connection with the Little Light House because my four-year-old son goes there. It truly is a miraculous place. The amount of progress that kids make in that environment, especially when compared to the school system's special needs program, is truly amazing.Their commitment to God in every aspect of their endeavor is what separates them apart from every other special school. It is a place to go to if you are expecting a miracle. I highly recommend this book because it shows God's providence in this ministry. It is a lesson to everyone trying to be faithful to God's call on their lives.
