The Middle Ages: Castles, Kings and Knights in Shining Armor

This is a wonderful lesson plan for teaching The Middle Ages, superb for [...]. I have used this book for several years, adding to it as I collected more activities and information. I retired as a reading teacher, but I taught this unit during the last grading period each spring. Even though it is considered social studies / history, every skill we taught in Language Arts / Reading is possible: comprehension, context clues, vocabulary, report writing, creative writing, research skills, etc. I highly recommend this book - Lorraine Conway did me a great favor in putting it together!
