I have owned this book for 25 years and still use it whenever I have a question on measurement accuracy at microwave frequencies. This book is written to the scientist-engineer applying the scientific method; not to a cook executing the latest recipe in Silicon or BiCmos or GaAs or patch antenna arrays. So many microwave books will lead you to a feeling that you must have expensive software to understand. This is not so and Adam proves it. Adams' unique treatment of measurement error analysis, TWT operation, and rotary vane attenuators is easy to understand and withstands scrutiny. In 1969 or today, great book.
