I'm a good cook, and I know Tex-Mex cooking inside out. This book helps you identify and understand Mexican ingredients (yes, you use lard; get over it) and gives you easy-to-follow, clear instructions on how to make a variety of good Mexican dishes. Excellent photos. The lime-cumin salad dressing for chalupas has become one of my family's favorites. Find this book if you can, but I'm not selling mine.
