My two year old son just loves this book. It features children from under a year to perhaps 4 yrs old, making normal childhood messes as they go about their daily business: eating cereal with it going on the floor, lunch on their nose, dumping their juice out of their sippy cup, making sandcastles (and the smaller ones smooshing them), repotting plants, cooking cupcakes, opening presents, cleaning up their room (and the smaller ones knocking down the neat piles), fingerpainting, making collages. He points to the different photos and claps his hands and grins. We love pointing out gloves and boots, pails and sippy cups, tasting icing and making footprints. As it truly reflects his life, he is very attracted to this book and brings it out himself at least once a day. It is similar in production to Dorling Kindersley books, with clear bright photos on simple white backgrounds, so there is no clutter. I definitely recommend this to small children who are just getting interested in books.
