This book is a must read!

This book is very clear about the lessons we should learn about life. I could not put the book down. I was amazed at how informative yet how easy it was to read and comprehend the information in this little book. I will never sell, lend or loose this book because to do that would be a big mistake. Let's just say it was equivalent to finding money that you were not expecting to find. A gold mine of valuable information for people of color.

I bought this book for my nephew so he could learn some black history............Message to the People: The Course of African Philosophy (The New Marcus Garvey Library ; No. 7)

High Honors to Marcus Garvey!

Marcus Garvey was an autodidactic, eloquent, determined, and benevolent man. This small work gives you 22 lessons in African Philosophy as created by Marcus Garvey. It gives you a glimpse within the mind of Garvey and his philosophy of Garveyism. These lessons are essential for a successful life. He breaks down how to read, how to obtain intelligence, how to gain friends, lead, and influence people. Garvey also goes into spirituality when he discusses Christ and God. He goes into some metaphysics when dealing with the Universe and the mind of man and God. He also elucidates some science behind the soul of man. Garvey was far greater than most men believe him to be, and this book proves it. Honors to Marcus Garvey and Tony Martin for compiling much of the works of Garvey. Peace.

A must read!

This is a great book. The message that Marcus Garvey brought is clearly conveyed in this nice little book. The focus seems to be the upliftment and education of African Americans, but the philosophy of his teaching is essential for anyone searching for truth. the book is divided into 22 short chapters. All of them are great, but my favorites are Education and Christ. This is essential reading for anyone interested in African Philosophy or self liberation and education.

The Negro Bible

Every black in America should possess this book. Get it, read it, and read it again! Thank God for Marcus Garvey.....
