Good book for kid's whose mother's don't stay home

This book would be a great one to read to your children if they are young and in daycare instead of at home all day. It is a nice way to explain to them what it is the parents are doing all day while the children are at daycare and how even in the midst of all their work they are thinking of their children. If you are at home with you children, however, it might not mean much to them. I am a stay-at-home mom (who was not raised by one). I read it to my children and understood the message it was trying to convey. But I'm afraid that all I got was blank stares.
