Men of the Constitution

This wonderfully illustrated book addresses the period of our history in which the Constitution was written and approved. This is NOT a Revolutionary War Story. It gives a brief history of how our constitution was developed and offers us a brief profile of some of the individuals who had a hand in forming this most improtant document. This book takes a rather dry subject and presents it in a way that is not only understandable to children, but is actually fun to read. This illustrations are quite good, fit the story line and are an education within themselves. Tha narrative is quite to the point and quite readable. I use this particular work as an introduction when hitting this period in our history lessions. Have used this with third and forth graders quite effectively. Highly recommend this one.
