From back cover: Speak, memory... It was as if Sandy Rush had stepped into someone else's nightmare.... As she cradled the dying woman in her arms, strange, disturbing memories suddenly flooded her mind - memories that simply could not be her own. And those unwanted memories warned her that the man standing over her at that very moment was a cold-blooded murderer.... And they also whispered of a desperate search for an ancient relic that men had been killing - and dying - for since time immemorial. Was Cliff Broderick really such a man? All she could be certain of was that he must never know of the terrifying secrets now locked in her memory - or the stunning passion he had awakened in her tortured soul.... ------------- This was an interesting little read, not perfect, but far from bad. Sometimes slow, yet the story was fast; it's hard to explain. The romance took a backseat to Sandy learning how to deal with Rachel's memories, and was the real draw in this book. I think the author did a good job in describing what it might feel like to receive someone's complete life in a split second. The romance portion, however, was rushed and not quite believable (and receiving some else's memories is?), though it was nice and different. Instead of having the epilogue, a sequel would have been nice to see how Sandy was coping and more development between her and Cliff. Overall, it was a nice, interesting, and fast read.
