Memories of the Storm

A beautiful story of love, loss and friendship, set in beautiful English surroundings. I loved how the main characters meet and decide to help each other and share their lives. The story is written and told beautifully. Fortunately, though tragedy occurs, it even makes the story more poignant and I just couldn't put it down. Good ending for all those readers who like good endings. Marcia Willett is a great writer and will remind readers of Rosamunde Pilcher and Mauve Binchey. Once you read one of her books, you'll want to read them all.

As always I am left with a sense of peace and longing to go to England and visit the areas Willett writes about. Her stories are always so delightful, this one no exception.

Wonderful!! Marcia Willett's works are in the style of Rosamunde Pilcher and bring the reader into the scene. Truly a delight!
