I suffered a stroke a while ago. Since then, I bought a memory book and learn to memorize the Presidents, the Periodic Table of Elements, and a bunch of other facts. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, so I decided to learn Medical Terminology for the hell of it. The first two chapters were very easy. I can do this!

Looking for Audio tapes or DVD's -

I have recently purchased the book, however, I'm looking to purchase the audio or VHS tapes. They have them in the colleges, but won't let you check them out. Can anyone provide these? I'm willing to purchase immediately.
A curious approach...

My sister took this course in Nursing school back in 1983 and gave it a "two thumbs up." I paged through the book upon receipt and began having second thoughts. I thought some of the word associations seemed a little kooky but decided to try it because of the high recommendation. I worked through the first chapter fairly quickly with not much belief in the process. I wasn't counting on any retention of what I had initially read. Surprisingly, I was able to draw upon a couple of terms in clinical this week. I'm looking forward to reviewing this chapter, to really lock it in. I'm looking forward to continuing with the remainder of the book, in this most curious approach.
Medical Terminology. Best Ever.

I have used this book and found it the best I have found. It was actually fun learning these terms and I now have a far better ability to figure out all the medical terms used by doctors and nurses etc. Excellent learning source, by far.
Exactly What I Expected...

I got a used workbook, with some answers filled out, which is to be expected in a used workbook. There was some minimal wear around the edges, but all the pages were intact and completely legible, and most of them weren't marked on. I received the product in the condition that I expected when I ordered it. Thanks
easiest class i've ever taken.

i haven't been in school for a while and was apprehensive of how well i'd do in school again. so i went to my local college i took a couple of pre-requisite classes for medical transcriptioning. this books/system was used for the medical terminology. it was very information filled but not overwhelming. it has 100 percent retention expectation. and i have made 100's on my tests so far, one more to go. it gets a little repeative at the end but other than that, i can't complain. you learn so much without feeling stressed, compared to the other class i'm taking. i was looking to see what other books he offers on different subjects because i was so impressed with the program and thought i'd share my opinion.
