Overall a good book

This book reviews the exam properly and is good to compliment a study guide. I used it to pass the exam easily.

Overall a good book

I used this book to pass the exam 079. The coverage is adequate. I have never used IEAK before myself. But by just playing with it and reviewing the book, you should be able to pass the exam. In order to have better exam score, I recommend you have a second study guide to accompany the book.

Very good for preparing the exam

I passed my last exam for the MCSE+I using several books, don't under estimated this exam. Using this book was not enough you need a good study guide, the questions in the practice test at the end of this book reflect very much the actual level of the exam specially the scenario situation which you will be asked around 10 questions in the exam. I recommend this book it will help you pass the exam.

All you need to pass 70-079!

This book does provide all you need to know to pass the Microsoft Exam. Note: pay close attention to zones and their restrictions--there are specific questions on the exam about this. Don't sweat the XML for the CDF's and Software Distribution Channels; there wasn't a bit of code on the test. I gave the book only a four star rating, because I feel its organization was lacking. The authors try to follow Microsoft's skills matrix step by step which forces an awkward flow of material. For example, Chapter 1 assumes familiarity with the IEAK wizard, which isn't even discussed for a few more chapters. You should count on reading the book twice (it's much easier to follow the second time). Know the book cold and know the zone restrictions really well and you should pass this grueling 70 question exam. (I got a 750--needed 703, after two weeks hurried study). P.S. It's not a bad idea to quickly read the corporate and ISP deployment guides downloadable from the ieak website. Good Luck.
