I really enjoyed this book. When I passed the adaptive exam I KNOW I got 14 of the 15 questions right and think I probably got the other, one, too. About overlap in the series, well, the microsoft core exams have a lot of overlap. It's not the authors fault. About errors, the microsoft way is not always right. You have to learn a few 'wrong' ways to pass their exams. But, yes, the cybex books do explain a few (I've found two) things in ways that will lead you to answer a question or two wrong. Something about manditory profiles being cached locally and upgrading from 95 to NT (you can email me if your concered and need the 'right way'). Otherwise, these books are great. My employer thinks I superman since I've passed four exams in two months.
Throw MS's Course book away and use this one!!

I took the MS Enterprise one week course in October and procratinated taking the test. I tried later studying from the Course supplied book and found it as much fun to study as the dictionary. I purchased this book and found it fun to study from, the labs were great. I passed the Enterprise test with an 882! After studying the book and doing the labs, I thought Enterprise was the easiest of the 4 tests I took.
Excellant book

I also used this book for study for the NT Server exam. It had excellant explanations of local and global groups, user profiles and policies as well as good explanations on Netware (which always confused me in other books) Review questions were also well written. Some errors and discrepancies keep me from giving this a 10.
Excellent Guide for Exam Preparation

This book has it all. Even the questions on the CD ROM are accurate (I got asked more than one of them in the final exam). The only thing it might lack is the directory services chapter - it could be a little longer. The other complaint I had was that the review questions were perhaps a little too easy, and could lull you into a false sense of hope. Other than that, I thoroughly recommend it to anyone studying for the exam!
