You may have never thought you'd find a "foreign" McD's toy at a garage sale in Kansas, but it happens! Sometimes European toys are used as fill-ins here in the US, or someone may have taken a vacation and eaten at McD's! The foreign toys are very exciting and even if they parallel a promo in the US (such as Disney's "Aladdin"), they aren't always the same toys.
