I found this book to be extremely informative. In preparing myself for the examinations, I used this book only! It covers the essential material needed to succeed. Marj Rempel and Ken Lind have succeeded in providing a book that is easy to interpret. After examinations are completed, I plan to keep the book as a reference tool.

I found this book to be an excellent tool for those programmers wishing to further their career opportunities by obtaining MCAD/ MCSD Visual C#. NET certification. The book is very well laid out and starts off with a quick overview of Object-Orientated concepts and how they relate to C#. From there on it leads the reader into the various aspects of C# programming with an eye towards helping them prepare for .NET certification.Each section is broken up with various notes, tips, code and visual aids to help the reader understand the material presented. I find this works well for me. I tend to nod off when reading those books that have straight text. There are test questions with the answers at the end of each chapter. This was nice, saves you from having to flip to the back of the book each time you want to check if you're right or wrong.I liked the way the book explains what the objectives of each of the exams are (in the appendices). There is a handy section that lists the exam objectives and the related chapters. The book also gives the reader tips on how to prepare for the Microsoft exams and what to expect during exam day. The accompanying CD is great. It has several practice exams and simulations to work through along with online tests and training.The book combined with the CD is a great aid in helping to study for the exams. All in all, a great book!

This book not only introduced the topic of C# but it also focused on the exams. I actually passed the Windows forms exam after studying this material, now I'll move on to the Web exam,Thanks for a great book

I really liked the book. I studied for the 70-315 and 70-316 using the material provided in the book. I found the book easy to ready with great examples. I have Read Books from Ken Lind and Marj Rempel in the past and have always been satisfied with the content and their knowledge on the subject material.I look forword to seeing the next book written by them.Thanks for the help guys, the book really worked for me.

This book is filled with information that will serve as a reference for me over a long period as I retool from Visual Basic to C#. I am very impressed by the coverage of how the Windows applications are developed with C# and the SQL language coverage that will help me enormously in my studies,Thanks
