A brilliant autobiography - for all aviation enthusiasts

I absolutely love this book. This just had to be said. It covers a lifetime and is surprisingly well-written. It starts out as a highly adventurous tale of his younger years as army pilot trainer and Bushpilot in Yukon and the Northwest Territories, and then it turns into a very interesting, at times amusing tale of the development of a charter airline, Wardair Canada, which grew to become Canada's third largest airline before being swallowed up by Canadian. It is eye-opening and educational, even if it can be a bit repetitive around the issues that the author feels bitter about. Still, a very exciting read, and truly a must-have for aviation enthusiasts around the world. However, even people not too knowledgeable about this airline will thoroughly enjoy this book. If you have never heard of this airline: Imagine Wardair being a Canadian version of Virgin Atlantic in the 1970s and 80s that ultimately failed, despite a superior product.
