Greetings. I'm so glad you are reading this review and I'm pretty sure God led you right here at just this moment! This book was the very first Max Lucado book I had ever read. It was slightly damaged and on sale at my local Christian book store for $5.00. I had never heard of Max Lucado, but I figured here were three different books in one for less than the price of the deli sandwich I was going to purchase next door, so what the heck. That moment led to a "love" affair with Max Lucado's books, and a deeper love affair with Jesus. I was never the same after reading this book, and neither will you be. Guaranteed. Also, you will NEVER hear or recite the Lord's Prayer the same "old" way again. You will pray it slowly and with a heart full of love and gratitude. You will enter your Father's House and know that you belong there. You will see YOUR portrait hanging above the fireplace and your picture on His refrigerator held with a magnet. You will talk with Him, eat with him, gaze at the heavens with Him. And that's only the FIRST book! You are in for the adventure of your life. You will cry, sigh, laugh out loud. You will feel loved, cared for, special...FORGIVEN. And...perhaps...you will pray in a way you never have before. I pray (really) that you will read this book. It will also come as no surprise when you keep the book instead of lending it to your friends. You will gladly purchase additional copies for them, though...and even for strangers. If you have never read any of Max's books, I urge you to do so. His writing style is easy to read, and you will learn things about God painlessly. I am reading Just Like Jesus and I can't put it down. I am underlining so much and taking notes, what insight! An enjoyable yet informative read. I can't hardly put the book down. I have still not been able to get this book away from my wife long enough to read it. She is VERY impressed with it, and in fact is buying ten more copies to give to friends and loved ones.We have read several of Max Lucado's books, but this is one of the best (I am told).

The inspiration, humour and pure joy I received when reading books by Max Lucado cannot be counted. Max has helped me answer many questions in my walk with God. He is funny, and Max, I have to say you have a case of "stuckititis" with me. I am looking forward to my next purchase of a Max Lucado next week.
