Great Starter Book!

This book honestly covers SOOO much stuff for an "overview" book. It is 124 pages. Figure drawing and facial expressions are covered. Clothing and folds/wrinkles are covered. We see different body types and ages. There are some pages on chibi, tips on perspective. There are "Everyday" poses and "Action" poses. There is even a brief comics tutorial at the end. [The only criticism I really have is the lack of People of Color. I might be an older White dude, but my daughter is Brown, and there are a LOT of Black manga and anime fans among my circle.] Still- a fine book.

Great book for those who love Manga and Anime.

Mastering manga, is an excellent resource guide for anyone who wants to learn how to draw anime and manga. Mark Crilley Texas time in the teaching you how to draw manga. I look forward to buying the next two books.
