A young girl tells how she dressed her Christmas doll in pretty clothes, from petticoat to hat, and supplied her with a fan and a parasol. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I started reading at age 4, this book has been one of my favorites for years, even before I could read it by myself. It's a cute story of a little girl getting a doll as a present that is completely naked, and her imagination runs wild and she dresses the doll to the nines. It's also catchy and rhyming, so little ones will remember it... "She came to me one christmas day, in paper with a card to say, from santa claus and uncle john, and not a stitch the child had on, i'll dress you never mind said I, and brush your hair, now don't you cry..." 17 years later, and I still remember it. For my high school graduation present, my mom re-bought me this book, because after a fight my little sister ripped all the pages out of my original. It was the best present ever.
