I thought this book is great becuase it is breath taking. This book is about Marry Anne she got a new job at a book store that sells only mystery books. But then after awhile things start happening. For example, things keep popping up.Things like black cats ,black crows, and people and she tries to tell the owner and he doesn't believe her.Marry Anne doesn't really get scared at first becuase she likes spooky books so all of this things keep appearing and she just keeps telling the owner but she says to herself don't get scared. After a long time books start falling on the floor and people start talking to her which I think it is very spooky and all so they say things that she can't reallyunderstand this was spooky to me becaue sometimes that happens to me.This book tells you thing that mite make you never to want to read another book agins especially scary books like this one. This story mostly takes place in the book store and my favorite character of course is Marry Anne because she is very brave. I would recommend this book to people that are from 10-15 mosty to girls because I think that this book is mostly for girls who like mystery books.

Mary Anne chose the Poe books for her English assignment, The Tell-Tale Heart. But when she got into the bookstore, she got all those scary things. Ugh! It's very scary that I ran from my room to my parents. That's very, very interesting and scary. If you have heart attack before, better not read it. It's going to make you super heart attack. And the Gable descendant says that, like Poe killed him. Do not, not, not read this book if you have heart attack!
