Touching children's book that covers some deep issues and ends with a wonderful uplifting message about the cycle of life: your friends may move away and your pet may die but life goes on with a new generation. The illustrations are colorful and the picture of 2000 praying mantises inside the house makes a real impression. I remembered this book for many days after I first read it to my 3 year old. If you have a kid who really likes bugs, this is the perfect book.
