This is by far the best study on marriage I have seen. Steve applies biblical principles to all areas of your marriage. This book is for those who are ready to call it quits and those who just need a tune-up. Better if completed in a group setting but I am sure individual couples can effectively complete the study.

At last, a book on marriage that isn't filled with fluff! Between the covers are the pratical answers straight from God's instruction book on how to have a happy, lifelong marriage. The author covers real life issues that we deal with on a daily basis. So many books today are filled with cute anecdotes and ways to manipulate a marriage. Not here. In this book we are given instruction on how to truly love and nurture our mate, not focus on what our own selfish wants and desires are. Contrary to most thinking this is the key to a sucessful marriage. I recommend this book to anyone who is truly seeking godly answers about how to heal, correct or just improve your marriage relationship. Get out your knife and fork; this is meat!

This is a must, not only for everyone who wants a successful and happy marriage, it is an indispensable tool for all "lay" counselors who wish to offer relevant and authoritative instruction to our friends and neighbors who may need some help in their marriage. Steve has done the "heavy lifting" by compiling a comprehensive work that gleans from within the whole counsel of Scripture, God's mind and plan for being married and staying married. I say "Bravo" and "about time!"
