Howard Berger, the Leafs beat reporter for Toronto Sports Radio has proven himself dedicated to his job, as he works very hard at it. This book provides an indication that, while he works hard, most likely is enjoying himself for he is a genuine fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The memories he scribbles are not unlike those of any fan, not neccessarily one that works with the team. He certainly has an eye for the dramatic, the significant, the thought provoking, and of course, the memorable. His somewhat juvenile sense of humour may wear thin after a little while. However, he still appears to be bright and astute when it comes to reporting on the Leafs, and writing about them. His other book, "On the Road" (not ot be confused with Kerouac) is a series of tales about life traveling with and NHL team. That is also a good book to get ahold of for any Leafs fan, or sports fan for that matter.
