Nice pictorial history of Manitou

This book is packed full of clear photographs primarily taken around 1880-1910, but includes pictures up through the 1960's. There really is no narrative & the pictures are in a random order, but it's one of the nicest books about Mantiou Springs I have found. If you're looking for a chronological narrative history, see The Springs of Manitou.

As one who grew up in Manitou Springs in the 40's and 50's, this book should be "required reading" for all Manitou residents and those who wish they were. The majority of the pictures can be related to current vistas.
