While the book falls out of the Mens studies section, it should fall SOMEWHERE. Ian's wife, Johanna (mentioned by name) is the centerpoint around which Ian's travels spin, as he tries to define what being a man is. A great deal of this book reads like the manifesto that spawned Fight Club and is as enjoyable for its viceral and raw look at one mans travels around America. Not to be missed.
