Great!!!

This is such a wonderful book.My sister gave it to me for my Birthday and I just love it. The directions for the projects are very clear and the projects themselves are beautiful. I highly recommend this book. I've already made 4 of the projects and don't see an end to the variations available.

Wonderful guide to making jewelry

This book has something for everyone. There is a section on stringing and findings to give general info. There are elegant pieces, fun pieces and just nice jewelry and the instructions are very clear. This book is great because while it has specific projects, it also gives you the skills and techniques to come up with your own designs.

An excellent polymer clay how to book for everyone!

As a relative newcomer to the craft of polymer clay art, I need instruction! Typically, the only avenue available to me at a reasonable cost is through reading instructional books. I look for books with good photographs and illustrations, as well as clearly written, detailed instructions. It's also nice if the instructing artist has a variety of projects to choose from. I am happy to say that this book fills the bill. And it's not just about jewlery. There are many other projects in the book, mostly small scale pieces, buttons, fantasy dragons, wizards, cottage miniatures and more. The projects are easy to follow and easily adaptable to the users personal tastes. The steps to complete a project make so much sense and the projests turn out so well, it's a joy to use this book.

Very thorough coverage of subject.

This is a very good book. It's great both for the novice and the experienced polymer clay worker, and covers just about all aspects of the subject. The projects are clearly explained, and you can really start from the basics and follow one all the way through to a result very much like the one pictured - which is more than I can say for a lot of books on this kind of subject. No prior knowledge is assumed, and no steps are missed out. All craft books should be like this!

The best polymer clay book I have seen!

I had a chance last fall to take a class given by Sue Heaser on making miniature food from polymer clay (FIMO) and saw the galleys for this book then. Sue makes her instructions so easy to follow that you can't go wrong. If you have any interest in working with polymer clay, this is the book to have. You won't believe that the items in this book are really clay and not the metals they appear to be
