Important book about the human side of large-scale change

Kentucky schools have been under a national microscope since the state's passage of the 1990 Kentucky Education Reform Act -- thought at the time to be the nation's most ambitious school reform law ever. Holly Holland's decision to examine the impact of reform through the eyes of three small-town educators -- a superintendent, a principal, and a teacher -- is inspired.
