Make It Pop!: Activities and Adventures in Pop Art

Most people tend to think that pop culture is not appropriate for kids. But I think it is necessary for kids to have an adequate eye of appreciation toward secular culture because they should be able to learn to pertinently enjoy creative art works. I make it a point to collect Joyce Raimondo's books. Make it Pop like her previous books in the Art Explorers series have proved to be an excellent tool in art education. I use it in my college courses for my students studying to be teachers. It provides clear examples of appropriate language and art technique for inspiring conversations and art making in this case about Pop Art. For my college students new to providing art lessons with their students it is a valuable resource.
