Major Appliances

I have fixed 2 dishwashers (one had a valve stuck, one needed a new pump) 2 refrigerators, a dryer (replaced the belt), 2 clothes washers, and a partridge in a pear tree. Just kidding about the partridge, although with this book, if it had a problem, you could fix it. The information is great, clear and very easy to follow. I have a washer that needs repair now, and I can't find my book! I'm having to buy another copy. My husband wants me to find a newer version, but I don't see one, so I'm getting this one. The reader's digest fix it yourself book is AWFUL. Doesn't even address front loading washers (which is what I need to fix.) The basic mechanics have not changed, so this book, although it seems old, still enables you to fix appliances. The only choice I'm having to make now is whether to buy this one or the larger version that has this book and others in one huge volume.
