Maisy Goes to the Library

Another 5 star review for Miss Maisy! Such a cute little read and great at educating children about libraries.

In "Maisy Goes to the Library," Maisy just wants to sit in a favorite place and quietly read a favorite book. It seems like a great plan, but Maisy is about to get a crash-course in all the fun stuff that goes on at a library. Maisy soon starts seeing all of her friends coming in. Charley, Eddy, Tallulah and Cyril --- they're all there! Maisy discovers that there are computers at the library, music and even exciting storytimes. But will Maisy eventually get to read that book? This book is illustrated in the traditional Maisy style that is a bit simplistic but still fun to look at. This story stands up with "D.W.'s Library Card" (from the "Arthur" series) as an excellent introduction to the library.

My daughter loves this book. Especially since we go to the library at least once a week. Maisy is her favorite character. She reads this book over and over again and is never tired of it.
