i didnt really understand what the book was about when i first bought it, i decided to purely from hearing a small extract from it. its completely amazing. it covers so much stuff that it would be hard to even sum it up, but ill give it a try. it should be compulsory for anyone who is a parent or an expecting parent to read this. even if you dont think your gonna have kids for another 20 years you should read it. the in depth understanding of brain development from birth shown in this book is staggering, as is the knowledge of parralel development of the mind alongside the brain. knowing the contents of this book could give you the tools to raise your child into a genius. even at adulthood this has given me insight into the working of my mind and how i can improve my general standard of existence. for a book about the brain quantum physics is referenced quite a lot, so i suggest you become familiar with the double slit experiment before reading, else youll be lost after like 10 pages. the author is clearly a very smart man and keeping up with his train of thought requires focus the whole time your reading, definitely worth the effort though.
