Storyteller Dianne de Las Casas magically weaves a tale of the unlikely friendship between a chicken and a coackroach! Illustrator Marita Gentry's beautiful interpertations are vibrant and whimsical! The author includes a glossary of words used as well as an author's note explaining the origin of the folktale and gives tips for reading aloud.
