Ugh! This author needs a good editor; her characters were all interesting and I especially like the hero, Duncan. But the plot was convaluted and entire chapters should have been cut as they were unnecessary. I read ahead because I cared about the characters but it was tough getting through it. I see there are two more books in this series as well as several others she's written but I'm not tempted to pick up another after this experience.
