Spine cover rip

Book was separating from the cover and spine but still readable, able to fix with lots of tape

Black Dagger Brotherhood Series

JR Ward series in Black Dagger Brotherhood is the only series I have read. She a good writer and her stories are good reads. Some over kill on the catch up of previous reads in the series. But the details are there and keep your interest. She’s in top 5th & 6th of my reads.

Love Love

I love this one as I do the others of the series. I love Blaylock and I love Qhuinn. Ok I love almost all of the males in the series I won’t lie. Worth the read as all the other ones are.

The Most Poignant Yet. . .

I have to admit I hesitated to even buy this book when I learned I would be reading about male-male sexual bonding, so I played it safe and borrowed it from the library first. Word! After five chapters, I ordered my own copy to keep it for my collection of favorite novels! Lover at Last convinced me Ward is an absolutely MASTER WRITER as she carried off Qhuinn and Blaylock's story with beautiful poignancy, just the right flare of passion and fury, and heartbreaking yet heartwarming romance with aplomb, taste, and compassion. One of my best friends is gay, and there is absolute beauty to his relationship with his mate, and so much love floating around my heart swells with happiness just being around them! Anyway, both males in this story have hearts of gold, abundant amounts of loyalty, strength, kindness, and so much love to give, yet they have difficulty coming to terms with their feelings for each other. This is a powerful, Quixotic yet brutal journey of a relationship between two powerful men who face ghosts and explosive secrets that can destroy their friendship and fragile relationship before it even begins. I am extremely impressed with the magnitude of J. R. Ward's skill, not to mention her consummate care and tact in handling this special romance, because this was, in the end, an explosive, unforgettable journey and expression of love that brought me to my knees with its pain and its ultimate joy.
