I liked the story

I can understand why so many gave this book a bad review, however, I liked the characters. Yes they were trying at times but the reactions of his parents didn't make a lot of sense. I would have liked to have known more about his relationship with his parents. It was just alluded to the fact that his childhood wasn't great and that he was still trying to please his parents by being with Sasha the girlfriend that his parents approved of because her parents and his wanted to make a business deal. As for Denise the main lead character although her friends and Sasha's people made her life a living hell...she was trying to hang in there although at times she was kind of just addicted to John even though being with him was destroying her life. The fact that John didn't always have her back was very sad indeed. Overall, I liked the story. I would like to see a continuation of this story. I want to know if they really make it because with his parents disowning him does John start to resent Denise? Does Denise start to resent John because she is the sole provider at the end of the story? Thanks

A Sultry Romance

Love Out of Order by first time author Nicole Green is appropriately titled. The story of two law students bound by love, separated by race and status is endearing. Denise is a black law student with too much on her plate to fall in love. That is until John Archer walks into her life and changes everything she has constructed to protect herself from heartache and heartbreak. But as fate would have it, both fall into a love that is doomed almost from the start. From John's racist parents to Denise's implanted apprehensions about him, love is out of order. With tons of romance, tasteful love scenes, and an advancing plot with twist. Love Out of Order will be hard to put down.

Damn Good Book!

This book was one sided. Had alot of negativity from friends. A black girl strung out over a white boy and the white boy over her. Yes he jerks her a round, but so what so does brothers. This book had passion, desire, fire and love between to people who have never felt or known it before dicovering what to do with it. Learning how to make it threw. I encourage you to read this book. It was great. Becuse lets face it relationships can be messy, childish and wonderful and the same time!

Real Life In Words

For a first book Nicole hit it out of the ballpark. She caputred the fears, hurts and doubts that people have when entering into a relationship that is not what everyone else believes is good. The characters had to not only deal with those close to them but also their own demons that stood in their way. If you are thinking about entering into an interracial relationship or are currently in one this book will either help you or remind you what is really important. It is not what others may think but what the two people who are in love think, feel, and believe. As you read you will experience the characters highs and lows. Even to the point of wanting to shake some sense into both of them. I cannot wait for Nicole Green's next novel.

Scrumptious Story

I love this novel! The two main characters, both law students, reluctantly fall in love. There's this spicy energy between them and I just couldn't wait for them to get together. :D But of course life's little and BIG complications get in the way. Some come from within themselves and some come from without: the pressures that come with school, the fact that they're different races, which doesn't matter to them but does to some of their family and friends. Then there's the problem of his girlfriend, whom everone wants him to have, but him. So, they try to ignore the attraction they both feel. It's one of those reads you won't want to put down. All of the characters are interesting and seem to step right off the pages into your heart and mind.
