Book warnings: Weight, self-identity issues, parental issues.
I love the way this author writes. The author kept me wanting to continue reading to see what happens. With that being said, I read the entire book today.
Although it sucks that a teenage girl thinks that she needs to lie about who she really is to keep a boy interested in her, the book is about how she finds her true self. I think this book is a great lesson for young girls to learn how to be who they are and love themselves instead of pretending to be interested in things just to impress other people. In the end, I think it's wonderful that she is loved for exactly who she truly is instead of who she pretended to be. This is a quick read with a fantastic message to teenage girls. LOVE YOURSELF!
