Love Finds You in Snowball, Arkansas

This book was a fun read for me. I like the way the writer cleverly weaves the plot using journal entries and recipes, along with the hilarious voice of Lucy, the heroine. Lucy is sort of an every-girl figure--instantly easy to relate to. I like the way Bricker makes her vulnerable along with being smart and spunky. Lucy seems very real. I usually read a lot of classics, and in my personality sometimes tends toward a too serious view of life. This book helped me escape and relax while still providing spiritual nourishment. It's healthy--good for you--but a treat like chocolate. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a heartwarming story!

Love Finds you in Snowball, Arkansas by Sandra Bricker is a great inspirational and a must read. It is easy to laugh when Lucy thinks she finally has the perfect man in her sights, an answer from God. But most of us have made this mistake at some time in our lives. Who can blame Lucy for thinking if only she can share his interests, he will realize they belong together. No matter that she isn't an outdoor girl. No matter outdoor animals have never been her friend. No matter any reality, Lucy is sure he is for her. Even, no matter she can't see the gift of the perfect man who has been there all along. The nonstop Lucille Ball antics will leave you breathless with laughter, even as your heart wants Lucy to realize her mistakes and find her true love. A great Christmas gift for your best friends.

I read this book because I have read other books by this author ( I highly recommend UnWanted Husband also!). This book is delightfully funny. The main character is very easy to relate to and her mishaps keep you wanting more. The author keeps the story moving easily and I love her sense of humor. I'm looking forward to more books from her!

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful romance about a woman who thinks she has to change and become something she isn't to win a guy's affection. This creates one mishap after another - some zany and others that'll make you cringe. Sandra's characters are people we know, people we'd like to know, and...sometimes us. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a fun escape and likes that deep sigh at the end.
