Tracing Ontario's political sea change to its philosophical roots in New Jersey and California, Dale makes an interesting case for a suburb-driven body politic. He backs this argument up by consulting positively everyone involved in the process of suburbanization: real estate agents, urban scholars, politicians, historians, and urban and suburban residents.This would be a fascinating book even if I didn't live in Ontario. Highly recommended to anyone interested in urban studies or contemporary politics.
