Really a 3.5 Review

I have read almost all of Simone St. James' novels and loved them all. I enjoyed Lost Among the Living, but I just didn't feel as if it was her normal high quality of writing. I had a hard time connecting to any of the characters as, to me, they just were not likeable. The story drug at times almost as if even the author wasn't thrilled with it either. In her prior books, while the supernatural (ghost) plays a part, the characters are what draws you in. I am all right with a ghost, but when she added in a demon dog she lost me a bit. Let's just say that this was not one of her better books, however, I still remain a fan. I have two more of here books to read and I continue to look forward to any new ones.

A great story!

I've read every book by this author. She is great. She has a tight plot, concise flow of story, and a creepy tale.
