They found the right place....

In Deirdre Savoy's "Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places" Liza Morrow and Jim Fitzgerald share a night of passion as strangers, but evolve into sources of strength inside a web of mystery and murder. Liza believed bad luck and trouble plagued her, especially in her relationships. So, when she discovers that Jim -- the man with whom she's had a one-time fling - turns out to be her best friend's brother-in-law, she freaks. However, when her apartment goes up in flames because of an arsonist's handiwork, Jim is there to help her through the ordeal. Forever the playboy, Jim was a "love them and leave them," type brother. He made a second career of shying away from any kind of meaningful relationship - that is until that one intense night with Liza. After that, he began questioning his playboy status. Unfortunately, their road to friendship -- or anything else -- was not easy, but one filled with mistrust, revenge and murder. Once again, I have nothing but adulation for Ms. Savoy's work. This sequel to "Could this Be Magic?" was passionate, humorous, suspenseful and nothing short of pure genius. I also enjoyed catching up with Jake (Liza's best friend) and Eamon (Jim's brother). Wonderful read!

Time 2 Heal!!!!!!

In the sequel to "Could it be Magic", we find Liza Morrow, a women that has had her share of problems. Liza is determined to get her life back on track. Her first step is to find her real father. Jim Fitzgerald is the handsome stranger Liza had a one night stand with, and he may be the man that holds the answers to all of her questions, but first she has to open her eyes and realize that sometimes the things that are best for you are right in front of your face, if only you will open your eyes to see them. This book is full of twist and turns. It was very well written and it won't disappoint.

New Found Romance Novel Fan

I must agree with the person before me. The story did get a bit confusing at the beginning but once you went along with the story. You were able to get a better understanding of what took place. This is the first novel that I've read by Savoy. Love the suspense between Liza's journey on finding truth about her father. This is definitely a must-read.

Very Compelling Read

This is a follow up to the book Could It Be Magic. We were introduced to these characters then, but this book is much better than the first one of the series. I found the first one to be lacking in chemistry and excitement between the main characters or within the relationship. Not so in the second book with this couple, Jim and Liza, in fact the opposite is true. The chemistry and intensity of their interactions is much more electric. I loved the character of Jim, and although I thought Liza was a bit judgmental of Jim at times, I grew to like her character as well. For an author who has not written romantic suspense before, I think she did a better job than most. This book flows very well and if the beginning seems a bit familiar it is because, I believe, it was included in Could It Be Magic, so this is a reminder of how their relationship began. Also, I have been reading Deirdre Savoy since her first book and some of her more recent books were not as good as her first four, in my opinion, though all her books have been good, some were absolutely great. While this book doesn't reach that level of excellence, this is a big improvement on some of her more recent efforts and I would definitely recommend it.

Time to let go.....

Liza Morrow thought her bad streak had come to an end. What more could she ask for after losing her job, her fiancé and finding out that Jim, the man she met in Florida a year ago, is James Fitzgerald the brother of Eamon her best friend's new husband. When she is awakened from her peaceful sleep to the smell of smoke, the only thing on her mind is getting out of her apartment to safety. Knowing full well she will have to find other accommodations and thinking that Jim has returned home, she decides to stay at the newlywed's apartment while they are on their honeymoon. She soon finds out she's not the only occupant. Jim is at a loss when he discovers Liza, who he's tried to find for the past year, was right under his nose. Since the night the two threw caution to the wind and came together in a no-holds-barred sexual coupling, he has been unable to forget her. Jim considered himself a love'em and leave'em kind of guy, so never in his wildest dreams did he imagine he would fall head over hills for Liza. The only problem he will face is keeping her from finding out he's madly in love with her. When a haunting issue from Liza's past surfaces, Jim constantly finds himself coming to her rescue. Once again, Deirdre Savoy has entertained readers with her stunning story-telling skills. The storyline is well-written and full of characters you will come to love and some you will hate. Although this novel is filled with a lot of suspense, the romance between Liza and Jim stands at the forefront. LOOKING FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES will be enjoyed by readers for years to come.
