There are a number of suspects that might be the unknown leader of the robbers, also the competition for the money and questions of how they fit it. There's attempts on Longarm's life and questions as to who's behind them? Stands to reason it's the unknown robber but how could he possibly know Longarm is on his trail? All is brought to a dramatic conclusion filled with exciting action and violent death that doesn't leave any loose ends. This is a highly recommended entry into the Longarm series - and I know we shouldn't laugh at death but the first one really put a big grin on my face!
