Longarm and the Hangtree Vengeance

In this episode we find our hero sent to western Kansas to bring a prisoner back to Denver for trial. The prisoner had escaped before Longarm arrived and had to be captured. Longarm decided to stop over with two prisoners in the little town of Dry Creek overnight to rest before heading back to Denver. Little did he know what this seeming sleepy and quiet town had in store for him. In this saga we get just about everything we hope to find in one of these episones of this long running series. It is full of fast-action,shoot-outs,a revengeful rancher,interesting characters,and circumstances that keep coming up that appear to be curtains for Longarm.It takes our hero a while before he finally gets to the root of all the problems;and the story keeps us in its grips right up to the end. The showdown in the streets of Dry Creek makes the Shoot out at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone seem like a Sunday School picnic by comparison
