This is the last of the 'Men of Honor' series by Cathie Linz. It is another cute read in the Silhouette Romance series. Following the heels of the previous book, "The Marine and Me", Cathie picks up a story about Tom Kozlowski, the youngest Marine brother who is recovering from injuries. Callie Murphy moves in temporarily to the cabin behind his retreat at the behest of Tom's brother Striker. Though he resists interacting with her, Callie's adventures keep roping Tom in. Within the story, I found that Tom's injuries were not fully explored emotionally, he did not seem blinded enough by his desire to return to the Marine Corps. However, a sub story where both Tom and Callie help a bullied child at the school Callie teaches at shows the author's versitility in character creation and also broaches an important current event in US culture. I enjoyed picking this up, I do wish the story was longer to feed the entire picture that exists with the Kozlowski family.
