In Nimbopoli, life isn't all about bells and whistles...or is it? Little Bop Oopsie and her entire island faces peril when a flood begins to destroy their land.Mr. Bop Oopsie is one of the most revered Nimbops in town. Little is very proud of her father, but the same time, his brilliance and legend have inadvertently augmented Little Bop's shortcomings. Little begins to slip into a sad place, where she can no longer appreciate her value in Nimbopoli. She no longer finds joy in her honey and beets, her support systems begin to fade, and she begins to sink into her own abyss. With desperation and sadness Little Bop pleads with her father to stop shining so brightly and ringing his proud bell so loudly. Dad, unknowing of Little's plight says, "Why Little Bop it rings happy for you, don't you know ringing bells it what Nimbops do?"It IS what Nimbops do, reflects Little, but is not what I do...my bell doesn't ring. Her logic prevails that if ringing bells is what Nimbops do, then certainly she must not be a Nimbop, or at least one of any value.Then...the rain, the flood, the uncertain fate of Nimbopoli...the bells, rang, and rang, until submerged. With communication lost and the other Nimbops unable to coordinate a plan to safety, the fate of the city is left to the most quiet, most feeble, and most hopeless Nimbop of all, Little Bop Oopsie. Will she fail, is she right about her value and self worth? It is likely that a Nimbop whose bell does not ring cannot make a splash.Follow Little through her adventure as we will find, even in Nimbopoli, where your ring is your most valuable attribute, a bell can make you a valuable asset, but a determined heart can make you a legend.
