I ordered 11 days ago for vacation and still haven’t received a tracking number. It states it hasn’t been dropped off at usps yet and they won’t allow me to cancel. I bought this for vacation and I have no idea if it will be in on time

Engaging characters in a remote village.

I adored Polly. I think she's my new favorite book character. She's not easily swayed and works so hard for what she cares for. She's everything I strive to be. I completely adored the story and all the characters even the annoying ones were endearing in a way and I loved it. I steam rolled this book because I was determined to know how it ended. The setting of Mount Polbearne was lovely. It's written so vividly that you can't help but feel the icey water while reading. This will be a book I revisit again and again.

I really liked the ease with which I fell into liking this character. As someone who has stepped away from the "rat race" to find more meaningful work and a more relaxed lifestyle, I felt a little kinship with Polly as she struggled to find footing in her new world. A great story, great flow. A fun, easy, fast read that I have already recommended to many friends.
