Wow I could not put this book down! Finished in 2 evenings. Being in my late teens early 20's during MTVs inception the Go Go s were the Bomb to me. Drummer Gina Shock was from our area, it was an all girl group, every gal in the group could write and Belinda Carlie what Pipes! Who knew what loomed behind the music? While I found Carlisle's take on things very matter of fact she never truly romped over her bandmates. How refreshing in a he said she said kind of world we live in! As weird as this sounds I got an understanding through her accounts about my own relationships with myself as well as my mother! Wished I could send her a Thank You Letter!
