I was both in disbelief and so saddened when I heard of Linda's passing, I guess we expected Linda to be with us forever. My sadness turned to gladness as I read the preface of this book. I was delighted to see that Linda had left her writings to a friend who has continued with the obvious passion and determination that Linda herself would have shown. I was also very happy to see a website address printed on the back page of this book, dedicated to Linda's memory, life and works. Thank you so much Crystal Bush, it must have been very difficult to carry on from where Linda left off, but I can see why Linda chose you. Getting the book published was a sound choice, asking Carolyn to assist was a good choice and giving all of Linda's fans this book was definitely the BEST choice. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! When I was younger, I went to school with Linda's daughter, Sally. Linda Goodman was always writing at her desk in the Bryant Hotel, whenever I would visit. She was very kind and I am truly sorry to just now learn she has passed on. Linda's book is an absolute must for anyone struggling with any realtionships in their lives, or if they are just curious about why certain people are important to them or what their significant others "makeup" is. A plan to go "beyond" our normal realm and investigate what the moon and the sun and the planets and the stars mean to us in our everday lives is right inside this wonderful book and will guide you and teach you all you need to know. Makes aspect interpretaion so easy even for a novice like me, and openly discusses why certain configurations require more work than others. The Rising Signs section was filled with rare and deep insights. I learned that just having a bunch trines and sextiles doesn't make one chart better or more fortunate than another, oppositions and squares teach us the "real" stuff about tough times in life. Her honesty and sense of humor are also major reasons why I get her books...truly a Master has passed, we will miss her so much.
