Lights and Laughter is Joel ben Izzy at his best. He spins tales that will delight both adults and children. His latke version of Stone Soup made our whole family giggle. Watching the dawning realization on the faces of our 4 & 7 year old (Hey! I know this story), made the whole listening experience that much more enjoyable.We have given this tape as a gift to households with young children as well as to households with no little ones present.All who have received it have enjoyed the stories as well as the storyteller's sharing of his personal travails as a storyteller who lost his voice (and lucky for all of us, got it back).
