This is one of my 3 favorite books ever! Once I started reading it I couldn't stop.It's exiting and there really aren't any boring parts of this book. I reccomend this book to anyone,weather they like horses or not.

...it was an AWSOME book! I love it and cant see why anyone wouldn't give it 5 stars! I think it is really sweet the way Ashleigh has that Passion for lightning, and how she risked going to the Derby to save him. That proves without a shadow of a doubt she cares. And Joanna does a GREAT job at showing writting over telling! I love this book, and think that any one with a feel for horses would love it too! Thanks for your time!

OH MY GOSH THIS BOOK HAD ME BAWLING HALF WAY THROUGH!!! I AM 12 ANY I WOULD LOVE TO SPEND 1 DAY IN ASHLEIGH'S SHOES!!!!! ESPECIALLY TO LIVE ON EDGARDALE. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE!!! <\_~

Hi! I think Ashleigh did a wonderful thing rescueing lightning and not giving up even when that unfair, bully tried to stop them. I wish I had a chance to do the same thing she did, saving the horse. I absolutely recommend this book to all you horse lovers out there!! It is my favorite series. I can't wait until the rest of Ashliegh's series are out for me to buy!

This book was A-OK!!! I couldn't stop reading it. Joana Campbell really makes you feel like you're there with Mona and Ashleigh. I can hardly wait to get Ashleigh #2 and see what happens with Lightning!!!!!!! I own almost all of the Thoroughbred books, but Ashleigh books are just as great!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work, Joana!
